So let me get this straight... No, we're not dead (after 1.5 years of not blogging).

Very much alive, actually. A short update- we still do have our weekly football matches, and we still are looking for players.

Mamak outings are not events now.... they have become rituals. Still kids, tough... yet to break into clubbing and drinking. But let's not grow up too fast, eh?

Meanwhile... we have our second shirt out: but this second one is not officially under PJP, and it's very political. Shows how much we have grown up.

Forum is pretty much dead. I presume from this month onwards the forum will be closed down because Brian will not be paying maintenance fees anymore.

I have decided to take on a solo effort to keep this blog going, but no promises. Meanwhile a last flare goes out to anyone out there who still reads this blog.

Man, you PJPs are nuts. Calling this sick boy in the middle of the germany-argentina game, only to pass the phone around; making me guess who is the real SCH. This is the full story:

So here was I, MSNing with vell, after 2 hours of hardcore philosophy reading. The Argentineans and germans just had their tussle on the field, then the phone rings. CK asks me to come over to join the fun, with the main reason that SCH wants 2 see me. I didn't believe- SCH back after 4 months?? NAH!!

So fine, CK passed the phone 2 some guy who sounded like an aussie with a guitar string stuffed in his ass. The aussie guy gives up trying to convince me that he was SCH after several attempts to piss me off, and passes the phone to some other guy. The cycle went on and on, and some voices were pretty obvious: nat's and mumu's...... then there was this guy who pretended to be SCH; but just came back from PHILIPINES!!! ok..... nice try............................... whoever you are...

So finally this guy comes on: voice just as lame as SCH...... hmmmmmmmm................... I guess he's SCH... so I guess he's back. The interesting thing is: the first aussie guy was SCH! damnit..... Sorry mate, I just don't have the ears for aussie accents.

LIVERPOOL !!! THE RED ARMY !!!! WOAHHHH!!!!

Im impressed with Liverpool this season. 3rd is not that bad. After watching them for this past years, this is one of the best performances. 10 wins in a row. Breaking club records. Good cleansheets. Jose Reina is a good keeper. Really good buy by Rafael Benitez. FA Cup glory. West Ham was just lucky by the way. Just showed how good we are at coming back. Its an Euro Final in England again. Back from the dead. Steven Gerrard is the hero of Liverpool. One of the greatest reds of all time. Gerrard !!! Hero !!! Without him Liverpool might be relegated. Stevie G !!! Our defence was good, although a bit bad in the final. Caraggher and Hyphia are one of the best in the Premiership. Just losing to Chelsea on goals conceded. Our strikers are a bit the sucky though. No more top scorers with 20+ goals ever since Owen left. Gerrard a midfielder is the top scorer. Just needs to go to show we need to buy strikers. Im impressed with the midfielders. Kewell, Alonso, Sissoko, Riise, Garcia, Gerrard have all shown good form. Nice. Crouch and Cisse are okay but still lacking

But know this we will be back and better next season. We just lost to MU by a point. a point. SO watch out !!!!! We will be bringing back the premiership soon !!!!

Got the World Cup to look forward to. Hopefully Liverpool stars will perform!

And Chelsea ? Just a team bought with money. But we will show money cant buy anything. SHowed them in the FA cup semifinal. MU ? Just a lucky Rio Ferdinand goal. Bah. We will beat u next time. And Arsenal ? No need to say anything. Still 0 time european champs. compared to us 5 time heroes. And dont start with Real Madrid cause they lost to Arsenal.

I know this should be in my personal blog, but like I've said: I don't blog... Then again.... there are those times that are just too worthy of being blogged..... this is one of them... sick for three ****ing days... Not to say that I was never sick before, but this can be considered one of my worst experience....

food poisoning they call it... but it's not..... it's food poisoning+fever+gastric..... the doc said it might be viral infection.... but I thought it was bird flu; or at least something much worse than that....

just last night my temperature was 110...... and just three hours ago I was sweating on a rainy Thursday morning......

During one of those moments while I was lying down.... I thought to myself that it is moments like these that remind us how lucky we are during those other days where we are fine, alive, and kicking....

yeah...again the one man army strikes. Liverpool. Definately NOT the first time he saved his team's buttocks. Stevie G thats who im talking bout. Seeing the match somehow gave me the eerie feeling that the reds were gonna steal it. All the ham-mers had to do was hold the ball but somehow gerrard shot like a cow from cow yards away and scored...on bloody 91st minute...just 3 more minutes away. Heck its champions league finals all over again. The last possible cup to win and they always win it. The manager escapes sack again. Then again, loads of respect for gerrard who had two great goals. Superb goals. Great match but i would say west ham deserved to win. Luck was on konchesky's side but definately not his teammates. Speaking of his teammates, shooting penalties like kids just arent gonna win them the cup. Aside from teddy bear, the other dudes shot with the power a four year old is capable of generating. SLOW and OBVIOUS. You arent dealing with butterfinger barthez here. Its the guy that has the most clean sheets in the premier league i think. Of course he can save 3 of your 1 m/s balls. And that obvious placing. Before any contact was even made Reina flew to the right side already. Ah well, congrats to gerrard and the urh..others. Gerrard 3-3 West ham (Gerrard's team wins by penalties 3-1)

I reckon the other one man army team is gonna jump into the bandwagon too of winning and keeping the star player. Both refused to sign anything. Both waited to see if the team wins something big. And then we'll see if henry will leave or not. And no im not gonna support arsenal. Barcelona is gonna thrash arsenal thats why. 4-0 just like sevilla thrashing boro. The year of the spanish teams. Heh! Then again i take that back. Not gonna jinx it just like how they beat juventus due to the absence of del piero for two match and nedved for one match. Who knows maybe ronaldinho might have choked on some salsa and will be out for the match or maybe samuel eto'o and messi were involved in some gay stuff and jailed or something. Anything can happen. Loads of diving almost guranteed. Cant watch it tho, back to back exams throughout 2 weeks so no blogs for 2 weeks then.

Will be back on 5th of august. Pretty much confirmed with that. At 5-6 am, reaching malaysian grounds once again. Planning to eat dim sum with my family then at 8 imma put on my football boots and finally kick stuff on grass. Yeap, be back just in time for football. All of you try to make it yeah. You guys gonna see first hand how an india trained dude plays football.

Anyway.. this is to blog about those exam period in our life: for those of you who (in case) forgot how does it feel like to be pressured with 3 assignment datelines in this week, and with your first paper the next Monday.... those books calling out your name ("you've forgot your one chapter a day policy!!")... your mom nagging you with housework.... your friends going out yam char every night (while you're buried in your textbooks)..... those bloody lecturers giving tips whenever you're not in class (as if it was a conspiracy)... AND not to forget those longing stares at the TV and computer (and the telephone too if u're attached)

SIGHH..... consider yourself lucky if u're not doing the exams now.... but look back sometimes 2 remind yourself that we should enjoy those relaxtion times we have......

now 2 hit the books again (at 5 AM in the morning...insane)

Well, sorry guys for no updates.....Been busy with Uni Life man......Mid-term exam is coming up this coming week.....After that week, its Easter Break......During the Easter Break, I would be gone for 4 days from Friday to Monday.....OCF Easter Camp....It's going to Fun.....Oh yea, those who doesnt know whats OCF, it stands for "Overseas Christian Fellowship"

Oh yea.....There will be new features added on to this PJP International Site.....Just have to wait....I mean really wait.....Hahahaha.....as I am busy with Uni and OCF......Oh yeah...how can I forget, ASSIGNMENTS!!!!! >.<

One word. Diving. Everyones doing it. From the big guns to the small fry. From chelsea to some random beach soccer team in hawaii. Speaking of chelsea, the king of all divers, Didier Drogba just got himself into all kinds of flaming ever since people noticed that he drops down as easily as a mosquito against shieldtox in 93% of the matches he played in. Truth is, there are so many other players who keep falling regularly like they've got leg deformities. Liverpool's luis garcia, manchester united's christiano ronaldo, and arsenal's reyes who also mastered the art of 'looking in pain' after 72% of all tackles faced. Most of the time reyes magically gets back onto the pitch unharmed and sometimes after looking like he had a bad case diarrhea for three nights he magically heals, with the energy to get up and confront the incoming opponent player. Warh, look like bone broken but still can get up to fight!

Those are just the notable fews larh. Of course there are so many others like the famous Arjen Robben broken neck incident. All those potential oscar winning performances. However, i reckon it wont stop. I mean check out the advantages! One guy off the pitch, penalty out of nothing. Im sure all the managers did their research and realised how important this is. Im also pretty sure in the next soccer team management games thered be the 'train diving ability' along with jogging and passing and all that. Theres gonna be a special button too for fifa 2008 or something which enables you to dive and potentially fool the referee. Yeap. Its part of the game.

On a different note, i used to hate arsenal but theres a sudden feeling that all that immense hatred is gone now. I think i know why.

Arsenal-6th (50 points) Bolton-7th (48 points, a game in hand)

Arsenal became a team thats pretty much irrelevant to the league. Just trying to qualify for UEFA. Not the champions league. Hah. You guys better pray they beat juventus. Thats what happens when you field a team of boys against men. Even Bolton might lead arsenal by one point if they win their next game. Can you believe that? The team specially for retirees who still want one last shot at glory. Ah well enough bout flaming arsenal. Theyve suffered enough for the season. That wraps up this post. Whats uppppp? Just a short one to let you guys know im still alive here. Thanks to those who went all the way to the airport. Not a nice feeling lar when you sit the aerotrain and it takes you far away from the customs. A feeling like you know youre reallly gonna leave malaysia and not for holiday. About 6 months and maybe 2 and a half years tops. Never did let the feeling of homesickness get to me larh. Can't afford to get distracted round here. Decided not to open a blog la since i figure imma be really busy with my studies. From what the seniors told me, medicine is no joke and its study day and night. So see lar how. This blog will do lah. Gonna apply for my internet for the hostel soon. Since library's charging me 10 rupees for an hour.

So lots to talk bout india lah. Im not sure if id have enough time to do it now so itll be tommorrow since ill be free again tmr. Or maybe not. Its the holli festival tmr. Might not go out since i heard its pretty wild la. Them throwing coloured powder at you and stuff. But heck i gotta go out and eat la. So like...my first try on blogging some official post. Of course i wont screw up. I do make a chun secretary. It was on friday. Not sure bout the date but anyway we had futsal and then dinner at mingtien or however its spelt. Taman Megah foodland. Futsal was great with ppl of all kinds of playing level turning up but no doubt man of the match was chia wei for just being there as moral support =D Thanks for turning up guys and for those who didn't too bad, you missed out on 2hours of free futsal. So anyways here comes the pictures!

later a trip to the cafe for some violence before ending the night. Gave my captain spot to teik and jason. I think jason would make a good one considering he hasn't been getting himself into a lot of trouble, has got some good relationship with every other member so he should be able to keep the peace or something. Teik gets half the cake for having a lot of experience in football and so, should be able to come up with some tactics for the team when theres a match. Besides, he's one of the only members who would openly diss someone and that takes a bit of bolas.

being a captain isn't much of an easy job. Coming up with tactics that might screw up big time in big games would be a little embarrassing. Sometimes you have to hit out on a few teammates too if they aren't doing something right. Then theres the difficult part of calling 11 players to play a match and make sure they all turn up and yet sometimes i get things like why aren't i pick and why must pick and all this things. Then those not picked would think of you as some cocky bastard who thinks he's so great. Well if everyone turns up then there wouldn't be an 11 on 11 would there. So much about maintaining the team's standard and yet not make any enemies while you're at it. It becomes that much difficult when this ppl you're dealing with are your buddies so heres a big sorry to those i did offend.

I expect the new captains to do the same as i did. Listen to anything the others have to say and taking into acoount all suggestions. Publicly diss anyone that isn't doing things up to the standard they are actually capable of, being lazy and all sorts but at the same time being fair. You got a post. You must be responsible. End of story. I expect both of you, Jason and mainly Teik to be fair and not misuse your power to kick ppl out, show off to girls and all that inane bullshit. Dont forget you guys are not holding the biggest post in the club. Eventhough he does nothing besides determining time and place to play football, the president has every right to boot any of you guys off your posts should you do something ridiculous.

On a lighter note, read Hsr just now and there was some calls for an assistant secretary. No problem. I just gave the term head secretary for kicks since min lips been sms-ing and alerting ppl bout all kinds of stuff. Anything to lighten the new secretary's job, im all for it. Can't see one guy doing all that. So that pretty much wraps up the whole agenda. So there!

Any pjps whove played against leon's team would say it was the best game they've ever played. Absolutely NO *kampung style. All with specific positions to stick with. Down by two at halftime but after a rousing half time discussion we came back to win 4-3. So what was the masterplan?

Being more rough of course. Talks bout pushing them opponents down and hopefully, hitting a *land mine on his way down...and slide tacklings and elbowing...lots of jokes and laughing...so long ago...cant remember the fine details. Geez, ridiculous huh? wonder what the premiership teams talk bout in their halftime sessions...

February fertility festivals

The association of the middle of February with love and fertility dates to ancient times. In the calendar of Ancient Athens, the period between mid January and mid February was the month of Gamelion, which was dedicated to the sacred marriage of Zeus and Hera.

In Ancient Rome, the day of February 15 was Lupercalia, the festival of Lupercus, the god of fertility, who was represented as half-naked and dressed in goat skins. As part of the purification ritual, the priests of Lupercus would sacrifice goats to the god, and after drinking wine, they would run through the streets of Rome holding pieces of the goat skin above their heads, touching anyone they met. Young women especially would come forth voluntarily for the occasion, in the belief that being so touched would render them fruitful and bring easy childbirth.

According to the Catholic Encyclopedia (1908), at least three different Saints Valentine, all of them martyrs and all quite obscure, are mentioned in the early martyrologies under the date of February 14:

a priest in Rome who suffered martyrdom in the second half of the 3rd century and was buried on the Via Flaminia.
a bishop of Interamna (modern Terni) also suffered martyrdom in the second half of the 3rd century and was also buried on the Via Flaminia, but in a different location than the priest.
a martyr in North Africa, about whom little else is known.

The connection between St. Valentine and romantic love is not mentioned in any early histories and is regarded by secular historians as purely a matter of legend (see below). CNY Feast of PJP

Venue: Wang Chiew Restaurant, a restaurant near jason's hse
Date: 10th of February

We gathered at jason's hse at 7.30pm, as usual there were some later comers. Ernest, Jason, Chee Kit and Wei Liang were web-camming themselves with this gurl on the other side, (who knows who is she) when we arrived. Ok time to depart.

General Chin Thian/Peng arrived after we finished mixing the "yee sang" followed by Arthur and Brian moments later. Jamie was the camera boy, that is the reason you don't see him in either of the tables, but do not worry, we will remember your face Jamie. The dishes were tasty, but some complained they are still hungry, but oh well, what do expect out of a dinner at a chinese restaurant.

The dishes we ate are sweet and sour pork, assam fish, butter prawns, speciality taufoo, mixed vegie and yam basket.

Keh liang paid the total bill of RM314 and a few cents, he was kind and said "Nvm about the cents, I will pay for you all". We exited the restaurant while keh liang collects and counts the money outside where there was not much light and right in the open along the shoplots (Oh man.... anyone could have rob us at that moment.....but nvm lar, if anything happens, General Chin Peng will summon his "ma chai-s" from the jungle to save us, lol). After that, as usual, everyone headed to ESCAPE to? What else? Play BF2 lar. The End.

This was the last place I visited before I left for Melbourne....Well, it was after ESC Escape on tuesday night.....Got an sms from brian asking me to go for dinner as he wanted to treat me and strider but strider couldnt come as he had dinner with friends at Swensons....So at first, it was only me, keks and brian but later, Jamie came.....Had a great time chatting eventhough it was a tiring day.Here are some pictures:

Woots......My new camera has just arrived and will take over my Canon Powershot s20....Some might be asking, what happen to my Sony digital camera? Well, that ain't my camera, it's my fathers....So....I needed a camera to replace my current one which I will use it in Australia and in Malaysia. Well, its a good investment as I think its a good camera but when taking videos, it kinda loses to the sony camera, but overall i prefer this camera.Anywayz, took some random photos to test out my camera...Enjoy...

Well its a bittersweet feeling seeing three ppl leaving...Two of them their first time out alone. Had it on friday, 20th January 2006 at Swensons SS2....Had invited 15 PJP's but only 13 that came.....Before Swensons, a small group of us went to Murni to have dinner. After that we went to Swensons and waited for them before ordering Giant Earthquakes.

Question: What is the difference between the regular and the giant earthquake?
Answer: Giant Earthquake have bigger scoopes

Unexpected PJP member arrive, that was Chee Kit and Joseph...Joseph came eventhough he had to go with his gf for clubbing....Half an-hour later he left....Thanks for coming anyway Joseph. Much appreciated.
